An elegant and rare decorative planter dating from around 1900, crafted from solid walnut and adorned across its entire front with polychrome earthenware tiles featuring geometric and floral motifs.
The walnut structure boasts a beautiful, warm patina and rests on an elegant molded base with sculpted side supports.
The planter is fitted with three removable zinc trays inside, allowing for the easy placement of plants or floral arrangements while protecting the wood.
This piece would be perfectly at home in a winter garden, a period conservatory, or a country house.
