wardrobe with a dovetail joint,
very easy to assemble;
made of softwood with 2 doors,
3 shelves on the left inside, 1 long
shelf at the top, and below that
the clothes rod. The wardrobe dates
from around 1880 and features a simple
country house style.

with the wedge-joint technique, the wardrobe
is simply slotted together,
without screws.
it can be assembled in just 10 minutes.
no modern wardrobe
can compete with that. The partition with
the shelves was added later.
screws were used only for
the wooden strips, but they
do not need to be removed; they
remain securely in place. The partition
is simply slid into place.
i’ll include
assembly instructions.

i restored the cabinet in my
furniture studio, in weiß,
leaving the original wood, as
the cabinet previously appeared, as
“shabby” squares.
the result is a charming old
cabinet, a one-of-a-kind piece!

dimensions are:
w 135 x d 55 x h 199 cm
shelf compartment width 39 x d 37 cm
width of clothing rod compartment w 79 cm

condition:
the cabinet is antique and,
for a softwood cabinet, has many
natural age-related dents,
scratches, etc. Nevertheless, after
restoration, it is once again in good
condition, ready for use, and a
very attractive eye-catcher. See less
