Unusually, these chairs are fully stamped with the original Made by Tecta Branding. Tecta was a large producer of chairs in the mid century period. They pioneered making chairs using laminated beech bentwood for strength and these are classic examples. Originally made for schools and churches, these examples come with the hymn book pocket on the back. They are strong, easily stackable chairs and make great practical café/restaurant chairs. This particular model of chair features a slightly wider seat and overall scale. These chairs are rich in colour and patina.
