The … Read more A stunning Danish leather Capella sofa by Illum Wikkelso. This was made in Denmark, it dates from the 1960’s.

The quality is outstanding, the frame is beautifully constructed and has gorgeous grain patterns. There are original black leather cushions which contrast beautifully with the frame. This is a quite compact sofa, yet is still very comfortable.

The condition is superb for its age, we have had the frame stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, with brand new black Pirelli webbing under the seat cushions. The leather cushions are in amazing condition, with minimal wear to the leather. The fabric on the underside of the seat cushions is a little frayed in places, seen in the images but not visible at all when in place.

We also have the matching pair of Capella armchairs in black leather.
