The tizio lamp is an absolute icon of global design, designed by renowned german designer richard sapper in 1972 for artemide. It is considered a masterpiece of engineering and aesthetics, so much so that it is part of the permanent collection at the moma in new york. Designed by richard sapper, this lamp is the emblem of italian functional minimalism. Thanks to its ingenious system of articulated arms and counterweights, the tizio defies gravity, offering total flexibility without the clutter of external cables.
