This exquisite dining set by Finn Juhl was designed in 1951 and is classic Juhl. The sculptural frames of the model FJ 51 chairs support the curved seats and backs giving them the appearance of floating. This separation of the bearing and borne elements of the chair is a signature of many of the best Finn Juhl designs. The exceptional design is matched by the fine quality of the construction and richness of the wood.
Expertly restored, the entire set is in fantastic condition including the original upholstery which has been retained. Measure: The 47" deep and 68" long table has two 20" leaves allowing it to expand to 108". The four chairs measure 32" high, 22" wide and 23" deep.
