Alacite, which is an "Ivory Opal" glass, was developed by Aladdin in 1935 and became the primary material used in their designs during that era. The striking intertwining Acanthus leaves graphic relief are both sensual in nature yet classic in their modern interpretation further contrasted by the milky White glossy Alacite glass finish when illuminated. The Aladdin makers mark is clearly molded into the inner underside neck opening area. Crowned with the original matched Alacite wreath finials which mounts the contemporary Off White colored Silk-like shades that cast an ideal ambient glow upon the sculptural forms. See less
