His signature style is unmistakable and is based on the contrast between "finished and unfinished": the use of rough, corroded patinas (simulating rock or archaeological finds) juxtaposed with polished, polished gilded bronze surfaces. His works, often dreamlike or surreal, represent humanity and thought laboriously emerging from raw material.
