A striking set of three Art Deco wall sconces designed by Ercole Barovier for Barovier & Toso, Italy, circa 1940s. These rare fixtures epitomize the refined sensibility of mid-20th-century Venetian glass artistry, where sculptural form and rich materiality meet architectural poise. Each sconce features a generously proportioned blown-glass shade in a tulip-like silhouette, rendered in clear glass with controlled "bullicante" — the hallmark Venetian bubble technique that animates the surface with rhythmic points of light and texture. The flared rim and softly scalloped edge evoke petals in bloom, adding a lyrical, organic quality to otherwise precise geometric composition. The glass sits atop a substantial solid brass mount, distinguished by layered, ribbed contours that reflect the era’s fascination with sculptural metalwork and architectural accents. The brass has developed a rich, lived patina over time, adding depth and character to the pieces while underscoring their authenticity and heritage. The weight, finish, and presence of the brass structure contribute to the fixtures’ strong sense of permanence and era-defining style. Professionally recabled and updated with new lamp holders for safety and reliability, these sconces are ready for modern electrical standards while preserving the original glass and metal pieces. The brass can also be lightly polished upon request for a more refined sheen, or left in its current patinated state to preserve its historical integrity. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
