This colorful C.1970 bangle is designed with a whopping total of 20 layered sheets of plastic fused and cut to create a true op art look that reflects the psychedelic aesthetics of a past era ... but as with all good design, it is as relevant today as it was in the late 20th century. I am completely fascinated with the workmanship and the hypnotic layers of colors. Fun at any era! Made in France and unmarked though it is a well documented Lea Stein design and can be found in the permanent collection of the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum of the Smithsonian.

The bracelet measures 7.63" in circumference on the inner rim and 10" circumference on the outer rim x 1" wide. It is 3.13" diameter to the outer edges and 2.5" diameter to the inner edges. See less
