This rare late 1990s to early2000s (Lagerfeld Era) Chanel crystal chain belt has been reimagined as wearable art. Each letter is handset with 133 brilliant Strass crystals (manufactured by Swarovski) spelling out “CHANEL” and logo” suspended from a double antique gold chain. The previous owner used the subject as a belt, statement necklace, and used it as handbag jewelry accent. Authenticated verbally by the Chanel boutique at Bal Harbour based on its crystal quality, chain construction, and weight. A Chanel box and dustbag are included. Weight .0.8oz

Estimated Year
1999–2002, identified through the Strass crystal settings, heavy double rolo chain, textured clasp typical of Goossens Paris production during the Karl Lagerfeld era, and noted by an associate at the Chanel Boutique in Bal Harbor, Florida.
