Nothing lasts — and this painting holds that truth without grief.
Impermanence #01 is a large-scale oil on canvas built from bold gestural marks, luminous color fields, and layered surfaces. A radiant yellow ground anchors the composition while sweeping arcs of black move with authority. Scattered pink forms float across the surface; looping gold and violet marks emerge from beneath, evidence of a layered process where earlier decisions remain visible.
The first in a series of eight, this work explores the beauty and tension of things that do not stay.
At 36 × 60 inches, it commands a room — ideal above a sofa, in an entryway, or any large wall calling for presence. The warm palette suits modern, transitional, and eclectic interiors.
A statement piece ideal for designers sourcing bold, original works for residential or commercial projects.
