When I found this inkwell it had a splash of red ink in it which I was not aware of … Read more When I found this inkwell it had a splash of red ink in it which I was not aware of and was I surprised to find red ink on my back seat and on my little dogs feet! Needless to say, it was quite the chore to clean up the mess! Sadie, the dog received an early trip to the beauty parlor and I spent the afternoon at the carwash. This little jewel of an inkwell has been cleaned spotless stands at 2.5 inches high 3.5 nches deep and 3 inches wide. It does have a little space on top in the back for a pen or feather to rest on it. I believe it to be made in the 1950's. It has a little brass lid. The whole thing is quite adorable. I found it in an antique store in Boise, ID. See less
