This lovely vintage Czech 1980's glass paperweight is of the Battuto technique.Signed Ceska.
The raised forms are the battuto and from different angles the forms change.
Battuto is a type of glass process where the surface has an even set of grindings to amke a dimensional pattern. There are 7 clear cut flat chiseled sides, top and bottom. The Battuto surrounds that..One side is higher than the other side. This makes a neutral desk accessory for a woman or man.
