Unique, primitive hand-crafted Pennsylvania farmhouse walnut console or workbench with mortise and tenon construction, circa 1900.
Beautifully simplistic in design and utilitarian in purpose having fine German craftsman influence, typically realized in furnishings of the era and region. Narrow in form with stable, splayed legs and a striking, clean profile, it makes a great console, kitchen worktable or serving piece.
