English oval white planter with handles to the sides. Raised staves to simulate a cooper's barrel. Nice shape and execution. Heavy weight. This form often was used as a foot bath or as an ice bucket for wine bottles. Pleasing size - measures 17" long over handles; the oval is 14 1/2" x 10 1/2" x 7 1/8" tall - large enough to hold three or four flowering plants. Good condition - minor staining consistent with age and use. See less
