Titled and labeled "Avant le Rideau" 2777 and "The Ice Cream Vendor" 2910 by Huldah. A charming set of vintage paintings by Cherry Huldah, each depicting elegant Belle Époque–inspired scenes rendered with soft, impressionistic brushwork and romantic color palettes. The frame is 1.75" wide. The art itself is 6" wide x 7.25"high.
One composition portrays a fashionable woman and child enjoying a lively outdoor park setting, complete with balloons and figures in the background, evoking the leisurely social life of late-19th-century Paris. The companion painting presents a graceful young woman in a contemplative pose, dressed in a delicate gown with feathered trim, capturing the refined elegance associated with Parisian salon culture.
The paintings are signed “Huldah” and presented in coordinating vintage decorative gold and off-white frames that enhance their classic European character.
Cherry Jeffe Huldah (1901–2001) is known for decorative portrait and genre paintings inspired by French Belle Époque imagery and Impressionist themes, often depicting elegant figures, fashionable women, and romantic social scenes.
