Fabulous artist’s print of "The Gate for the Headlands" by acclaimed painter Rebecca Holland. A unique California impressionist view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Perfect for San Franciscans, Californians, and everyone else! A truly attractive and captivating piece.
Very rare find. Certified and signed Artist’s Print #25 of 25. Painting and prints thought to be from late 70s or early 80s.
- Print appears in pristine condition, obviously having been well preserved over the years inside this frame (backing is stapled into the frame).
- Well chosen surrounding blue mat looks in great shape.
- Imitation glass, treated to reduce fading of print, is showing signs of wear: A few thin scrapes and one small ‘break’, as though something small had impacted the surface (see photo)
- It would seem that at some point an exterior backing of the frame was removed, apparently leaving the frame less sturdy. Most importantly this frame has kept the print safe so we have not removed it.
Ensemble is very light and easy to move around.
Photos are accurate however it is difficult to avoid reflection so please ask if you think you see an imperfection. (Most likely a reflection). The colors are somewhat more vibrant than they appear in the photos.
Framed print 35 1/4 x 27 1/2 x 3/4 deep (frame); mat and frame = 2 1/2 wide
