A refined English Regency period mahogany games table featuring a beautifully inlaid chessboard to the top and fitted interior compartments for gaming pieces.
The rectangular drop-leaf top opens to reveal a cleverly designed interior fitted for backgammon and other tabletop games, with inlaid scoring panels and storage compartments. The table retains a single drawer with brass pulls and stands on elegant turned legs terminating in original brass casters, allowing the piece to be easily moved within a room.
Crafted in richly toned mahogany with a warm, naturally aged patina, the table combines functionality with classic Regency proportions. Designed for versatility, it serves equally well as a chess table, occasional table, or decorative accent piece in a living room or library.
