An extraordinary hand-painted ceramic toucan by the renowned Italian ceramics studio Ronzan, known for its midcentury figural sculptures and exceptional glaze work. This life-like tropical bird features textured feathers, bold coloration, and a dramatic beak, all perched atop a sculpted tree stump base.
Marked “Ronzan Made in Italy” on the underside, this rare piece is a true statement sculpture — ideal for collectors of Italian ceramics, exotic animal décor, or jungle-inspired interiors.
Measures 14"H at it's tallest point, 19.5" from tail to tip of the beak and 7.5" at the base. He is in excellent vintage condition, with minor imperfections on his tail (see photos). They would be difficult to notice while on display.
