This is a green Jean Pouyat Limgoes chocoalte pot or teapot with what I believe are hand painted purple flowers, a matching lid and gold painted handles. The front and back are completely different and both sides are shown. The Jean Pouyat backstamp is dated 1890 to 1902.
The pot measures 5.50 inches wide. It is 8.25 inches tall to the rim and 9.75 inches tall to the top of the handle. The pot holds forty-eight ounces of liquid.
The pot has a scalloped top rim with no damage, but the gold trim gets a bit sparse in places. The lid is shown and it’s a color match to the yellow on the pot and it has some just barely worn gold edges. It fits perfectly.
The pot is marked as shown. There are no chips, cracks, or other damage and no crazing. The paint on the bottom rim is a bit messy as shown. The inside is mostly clean, but it has some dirt/marks/staining at the bottom. I will try to clean those.
