The contrast between … Read more This charming vintage shoe cabinet dates back to the 1960s and combines functionality with typical mid-century design. The contrast between the dark mahogany and light birch veneer is particularly striking. The fine brown decorative lines on the fronts accentuate its elegant retro character.

The cabinet body is made of spruce and beech. Two drawers offer additional storage space for accessories such as gloves or shoe care products.

Behind the two sliding doors are three shelves with four wooden rods for storage – ideal for flatter shoes. It can hold approximately 12 pairs of shoes.

The back panel and base are made of perforated wood, ensuring good ventilation – practical and thoughtful.

A stylish and functional piece of furniture for a hallway or entryway.

The cabinet is sturdy and undamaged. There are some signs of wear. Slight discoloration is visible on the sliding doors.

➡️ Refurbishment:

The shoe cabinet has been thoroughly cleaned. The top and sides have been refinished. The remaining wooden surfaces have been cleaned and treated with specially purified linseed oil in combination with an odorless and residue-free hydrocarbon solvent.
