Impressive figural sculpture in white biscuit porcelain, depicting Venus with Cupid (Love) in an elegant, classically composed allegorical scene. The piece is finely modeled, with richly flowing drapery, delicate facial features, and a decorative pedestal adorned with garlands, characteristic of the French academic taste of the 19th century.
The base is clearly inscribed “CARRIER-BELLEUSE”, and the underside shows an impressed mark and additional stamped/pressed markings, confirming the marked model attribution.
Highly decorative and collectible, this sculpture is suitable for a classic interior, cabinet of curiosities, or a formal salon display.

Formerly in a European private collection; acquired on the Vienna antiques market (Austria). The object has been in Europe for several decades. This piece has an attribution mark,
