As is typical with Buenos paintings of children , here he depicts a young girl, on this occasion forward facing with a somewhat forlorn expression. Quite captivating, such that one might want to cradle the individual, 'everything will be alright'

The frame exhibits some wear, light scuffs and age related grime.
The work is mounted in a frame typical of the 1960s era and appears original to the work, having era specific rear fixings.
