The … Read more This Italian modernist tripod table was produced in the 1950s and reflects the graphic experimentation of postwar interior design. The laminate top features a mosaic inspired pattern composed of geometric shapes and tonal variations typical of the decade.

A black laminate band separates the surface from the brass perimeter frame, creating a structured visual contrast. The three turned wooden legs are slightly tapered and finished with brass caps, reinforcing the material dialogue between wood and metal.

The table functions as an occasional table or side table and retains excellent proportions for contemporary interiors. It remains structurally sound and stable. Minor signs of age are present, including a small localized opening along the edge that does not affect use.

A compact and architecturally balanced example of Italian 1950s furniture production.
