The piece features a long, linear form with a restrained industrial character. Originally used as a livestock water or feeding trough, it retains several small drainage holes in the base, typical of agricultural use.

Cast in solid iron and weighing approximately 100 kg, the trough has a substantial architectural presence. The surface shows a natural aged patina with oxidation and wear consistent with long-term outdoor exposure.

Today, it lends itself beautifully as a sculptural garden element, a large planter, or a striking landscape feature in both traditional and contemporary settings.
