The four amber methacrylate panels, with a grain that mimics briar root, are held in place by chrome-plated metal brackets and edged with gold trim, offering a warm, atmospheric light typical of the era.

The authenticity of the piece is underscored by some signs of decades of wear: particularly notable are hairline cracks and small cracks in the acrylic glass near the fixing screws, as well as a light patina of oxidation on the metal parts, which does not detract from its vintage charm.
