A leather-clad table lamp with a restrained, architectural profile, dating from the late 20th century and Made by Le Tanneur
The lamp is composed of a square base and upright stem, both wrapped in warm brown leather with visible stitched detailing that highlights its tailored construction. The clean, rectilinear form gives the piece a disciplined and understated presence, while the natural variation in the leather adds softness and depth.
The original cylindrical shade is finished in a complementary paper, edged with darker brown trim to the top and lower rims. This tonal contrast subtly frames the shade and reinforces the lamp’s cohesive material palette. When illuminated, the leather diffuses the light gently, producing a warm, ambient glow.
