A striking vintage brooch designed as overlapping comedy and tragedy theater masks in a bright silver tone finish. The dimensional openwork design gives the piece strong visual presence, with expressive sculpted faces that read clearly from a distance and make it an especially fun statement for lovers of theater, costume jewelry, and conversation pieces. Based on the bold theatrical motif, shiny silver tone finish, and long rollover clasp construction, this brooch was likely made in the 1980s. It is unmarked.
