The composition depicts an idyllic harvest scene set within a golden countryside landscape. At the center, four elegantly arranged figures form a harmonious grouping beneath a broad, sheltering tree. A seated woman in flowing blue and rose drapery cradles a child at her side, while a second young woman leans forward in gentle conversation with a seated gentleman dressed in warm ochre and rust tones. Their triangular arrangement reflects academic compositional training, carefully balanced and theatrically staged.
The surrounding landscape is abundant with wheat sheaves and warm autumnal fields stretching toward the horizon.
