Antique pair early 19th c. Coalport porcelain dessert dishes decorated in chocolate brown ground with reserves of red poppies in imitation of Chinese Kangxi porcelain in the Batavian pattern. Flared and shaped edges. Rare and interesting. Gilt edge.
Each measures 8.5" square. Some stacking ware - one dish has a small kiln crack on the foot in the making and not considered a fault.
