A charming pair of vintage framed American presidential portrait plaques featuring Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Jackson, presented in simple natural wood frames with printed historical descriptions on the reverse.
The Lincoln plaque references “The Last Life Portrait of Lincoln,” originally painted in 1865 by Francis Bicknell Carpenter and reproduced with historical notes courtesy of Lincoln National Corporation. The Andrew Jackson plaque originates from The Hermitage in Nashville, Tennessee, the historic home of the seventh U.S. president, and references the well-known portrait by artist John Ralph Earl.
These pieces were produced as mid-century historical souvenir plaques, likely dating to the 1960s–1970s. Museum gift shop reproductions like these were popular educational keepsakes and remain charming pieces of Americana today. Their small scale and warm wood frames make them perfect for a study, library, office, or patriotic gallery wall display.
