This French garden bench dates from the mid-20th century and is constructed from solid iron and wooden slats.
The frame is made of solid iron with decorative scrollwork and twisted elements. Traces of an earlier red anti-rust primer remain visible on parts of the iron structure, reflecting its age and original outdoor use.
The seat and back consist of wooden slats made from American Douglas pine. Remnants of earlier yellow paint are still visible, contributing to its authentic character.
