A magnificent example of Italian Baroque Revival craftsmanship, this monumental triple armoire (circa 1880–1920) features a dramatic bombé (convex) silhouette and exquisite bookmatched burl walnut veneers.
The central door houses a tall, serpentine-arched beveled mirror with original silvering. The exterior is adorned with hand-carved foliate scrollwork and a prominent shell crest.

Interior Details:
The interior is uniquely finished with a two-tone design featuring satinwood and mahogany inlays. It includes:
- A large central hanging bay with a built-in base drawer.
- Two flanking compartments with adjustable shelving notches.
- Deep internal cavities providing extra storage depth due to the bombé shape.

Condition Report
This armoire is in very good antique condition, with wear and minor imperfections commensurate with age and use. Please note: there is a small chip in the veneer on the right door (see close-up photo). This is a common occurrence for a piece of this vintage and does not detract from its structural integrity or palatial aesthetic. Original brass hardware and working locks are included. This is a "knockdown" design, which disassembles into multiple sections for safe transport and delivery into homes with narrow hallways or stairs. See less
