Signed limited edition offset lithograph by renowned Canadian wildlife artist Robert Bateman, titled Shadow of the Rainforest. This striking composition depicts a melanistic jaguar (black panther) perched on a moss-covered branch in a misty tropical canopy. Hand-numbered 8854/9000 in pencil lower left, with Bateman's pencil signature lower right. The image is also plate-signed and dated 1992 within the composition.
Reproduced from the original acrylic painting on illustration board and printed by Litho-Krome Company on museum-quality, acid-free pH-neutral paper. Published by Mill Pond Press, Inc., Venice, Florida. Released January 1993.
