Classic "Mufuti" (multifunctional table)
in the 1960s Chippendale style
Unadorned period piece with the typical curved legs and an elegantly shaped tabletop
Dark wood
EXTENDABLE, in width, tone-on-tone - when extended, almost square
HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE - the tabletop is raised via a rotating mechanism - this is more stable than the usual crank mechanism via the legs - unfortunately, there is a crack near the crank, see detailed photos.
The function is still intact (as you can see) - you just have to crank it a little more carefully --- or have it professionally welded ;)
Otherwise, overall in very good vintage condition, the tabletop has some age-related light discoloration and small scratches
