Made from lightweight and durable kiri (paulownia) wood, it is easy to move—especially thanks to the elegant side handles, which also highlight the piece’s practical, utilitarian origins.

The layout is clear and functional: two smaller drawers at the top, ideal for office supplies, jewellery, stationery, keys, or sewing and hobby items, and two wide full-length drawers below. A particularly appealing detail is the black-lacquered interior of the drawers: the deep black creates a strong contrast with the warm, darkened wood and gives the cabinet a distinctly luxurious feel.

The drawer fronts show a calm, rich grain with a beautiful patina and subtle signs of use that suit its age perfectly.
