We offer a scissor-type wall light with a medium-sized shade from the exemplary idell lighting catalog. After wall mounting, the light can be pulled out, swiveled, and tilted using the wall bracket. As is typical for idell lights, the reflector has a spherical head, allowing for lateral and vertical light deflection. The light has been rewired.
there are a few noticeable signs of wear in the paint; the light retains its original patina and has not been repainted. Around 1930, christian dell, formerly a master metalworker at the bauhaus dessau, created the idell lighting series for the company kaiser + co. The brief was "lights for office and workshop, for work, for eye protection." source: kaiser idell catalog no. 11.
