Produced primarily in the 19th and early 20th centuries, they are cottage-industry weavings, often created in village homes without strict cartoon patterns, giving them a bold, tribal character. When it comes to geometric decorative tribal rugs no other rugs coud top Heriz thats why Heriz has been so popular in design industry & among the inerior designers. One thing that is sp special about this rug, its size! why? majority of Heriz rugs were woven in 8'x11' size up to place sizes but for some reason smaller size like the one that I am offering here is so rare & because of that sme prices are more than room sizes. This size that I am offering here might come one in every 500. As far as the conditoion goes, it has low even pile from top to bottom, minor wear barely visible. This rug has awesome color combination, rustish red from the light side & deeper red from the dark side(all pile rugs have two shades of color, light & dark side). Price that I am offering fot this cute piece is way below the retail & even wholesale. If youre looking for an atique Heriz at this size just get it because it is very difficulte to find another one.
