Bedroom Lighting Set: Chandelier and Two Crystal Wall Lights, Made in Italy, 1970s. This romantic three-piece bedroom lighting set includes a seven-light chandelier and two matching two-light wall lights, in good condition and fully functional by European standards.
The chandelier features a Louis XVI-style basket-shaped iron structure. This bedroom chandelier is completely covered in hand-strung beads and light blue crystal pendants. In excellent condition and functioning with the original wiring, it features five outer lights on curved arms terminating in beaded bobeches. Two additional inner lights enhance the magical effect of reflected light thanks to the crystal festoons surrounding them, for a total of seven lights, all with miniature E14 sockets.
The chandelier measures 66 x 46 cm in diameter.
from the same private collection in Milan, two matching two-light wall lights complete the bedroom lighting set. They are a pair of beaded wall sconces made with a teardrop-shaped frame made of silver-plated iron completely covered in clear faceted crystal beads shaped like rosettes and pencils, and two dangling blue almonds, accented by discreetly placed beads of the same color. The two lights use Edison 14 bulbs, with the original electrical system in perfect working order.
