Dimensions: Height x Width x Depth 101 x 129 x 63 cm. For sale is an original, very well-preserved Biedermeier 4-drawer chest of drawers with a spruce wood frame and walnut veneer, crafted with exceptional elegance. The inlaid design on the front and top of the chest, made of walnut and extending across all three drawers, is both attractive and distinctive. This chest of drawers is in a beautifully restored, clean condition; the old shellac finish accentuates the patina. The top is slightly warped – barely noticeable, but worth mentioning. It is clean, stable, and in very good condition. The drawers open and close smoothly and can be locked with a key. The interior of the chest has a pleasant fragrance. This is a beautiful original piece from the Biedermeier period, circa 1840! See less
