Walnut boomerang desk manufactured by the Standard Furniture Co. The top has 3” border pattern accentuating the boomerang shape. The base has an asymmetrical construction with drawer set on right. The left side is cantilevered by legs. There is a center drawer with keyhole. No key. The drawers on right are all locked unless center drawer is open. The drawers are made of oak with exception of walnut fronts. The legs have brass soffits.
The Standard stamp is inside drawer. It is believed to be designed by William H. Sullivan.
