The design, created by Lalique, features a Koi fish with its tail extending upward to form a cigarette or cigar holder. It incorporates a concave abundance of spherical Murines (representative of whimsical underwater air bubbles). In the center of the dish, a Koi fish rendered in frosted glass lies in a curled position, it's forked tail peaking above the perimeter wall.
It is signed with an engraved "Lalique France" signature mark, indicating it was produced after 1945, approx. circa 1970
