An elegant, low sideboard of French manufacture, dating from the 1950s, blending classic aesthetics with the refinement of post-war modernist design.
The front features superb marquetry in precious wood veneer (rosewood or walnut), with a central star motif and symmetrical chevrons on the side panels.
Decorated with light maple stringing and floral inlays in brass or gilt bronze, this piece evokes the world of great Parisian cabinetmakers such as Maison Jansen or André Arbus.
The base, with its tapered, fluted legs topped with brass sabots, reinforces the neoclassical elegance of the piece.
The entire piece rests on a solid wood frame, ensuring sturdiness and quality. This piece is in good condition and ready to be integrated into a refined interior.
