A seated monkey figure wearing a patterned vest, holding a lotus-shaped dish or bowl on its head. It is a decorative collectible piece often used as a candy dish, trinket bowl, or soap dish. This particular one was used as a planter as there is some residue from soil in the bowl that can come out with a good scrubbing. Crafted from ceramic or porcelain, with a crackle glaze finish. Great detail in the face and on the floral design on the vest. 14" height 7 1/4" wide 6 3/4" deep. In very good, vintage condition. See less
