This beautiful floral composition is from the popular Nordic zone artist Bente Bjerregaard (1932-2023). Through lyrical abstraction the artist offers expressive free flowing brushwork that emphasizes the emotion, spontaneity, and color of a spring garden. Soothing shades of green, pink, and lavender soften the painting adding to the poetic and atmospheric mood. Framed simply by the artist with a white- washed primitive strip frame the painting mixes effortlessly in any curated space. The painting is in very good condition and initialed front lower side of painting and signed and dated 2002 on the back. See less

The painting itself is in very good to near perfect condition. The canvas is tight and intact and without repairs. The painting is framed in an artist placed strip frame that has been white washed and has some imperfections. The photos highlight how the artist fastened the strip frame with small nails and how the corners are primitively joined which adds to the charm and the story behind the painting.
