This classic Chinese-style pedestal stand is expertly crafted to support and elevate heavy porcelain vessels, such as fishbowls, planters, or large vases. The stand features a rich, dark-stained rosewood finish that provides a sophisticated contrast to colorful porcelain.
A traditional five-legged design featuring ornate, scrolled ruyi-style feet that provide excellent stability for heavy items. The top surface is recessed and tiered, specifically designed to securely cradle the rounded base of a bowl or planter with an approximate 7.5" width base. The wood displays a beautiful, visible grain and a smooth, lustrous polish.
Note:
Since modern harvesting of Rosewood is effectively banned, pre-existing vintage and antique rosewood items are increasingly scarce and collectible.
