Set of 7 Antique Limoges Elite Works Teacups – Celadon Dots and Gold Scrolls
A sophisticated set of seven (7) antique French porcelain teacups from the renowned Elite Works (Bawo & Dotter) of Limoges. Dating specifically to the late 19th-century transitional period (1894–1900), these cups feature a delicate pale green stippled band, intricate gold scrollwork, and hand-painted floral sprays. Each cup is finished with a luxurious, fully gilded single handle, a signature of high-end Belle Époque tea service. These pieces represent the pinnacle of luminous, fine-boned Limoges porcelain.
Dimensions:
Diameter: 3.75 inches (top rim)
Height: 2 inches
Handle: Single gilded loop handle
Condition:
Excellent Antique Condition. These pieces are free of chips, cracks, or crazing. The white porcelain remains bright and vitreous, while the gold gilding on the handles and rims is exceptionally well-preserved for its 125+ year age, showing only the most negligible surface wear.
Collector's Note:
These cups bear rare dual backstamps: a green underglaze mark for Delinieres & Co.(1894–1900) and a red overglaze shield mark for Elite Works. This signifies the cups were manufactured as "blanks" by Delinieres and then masterfully decorated by the Elite Works studio, a sought-after provenance for Limoges collectors.
A rare opportunity to acquire a complete set of seven matching teacups in such pristine condition. Perfect for a curated high tea service or for display in a formal china cabinet. Ships with professional care.
