Magnificent, matching pair of large-scale Chinese porcelain "Fishbowl" style planters with original matching drip trays. These are exceptionally heavy, professional-grade porcelain pieces featuring a vibrant "Famille Jaune" (yellow ground) with hand-enameled Phoenix and Peony motifs.
Provenance & History:
These have been in our family for over 30 years, originally used in a protected garden setting. Despite three decades of display, the colors remain incredibly vivid—a testament to the high-quality, high-fired enameling.
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. I have meticulously cleaned these to remove mineral deposits. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Minor "pitting" (small carbon spots) inside the porcelain is a classic hallmark of authentic vintage production.
