This tall temple-style wall carving depicts Lord Ganesha in a richly detailed composition with attendant figures and ornate architectural-style motifs.

Beautifully hand carved from teak, the panel shows the dimensionality, texture, and character of true hand-worked craftsmanship. The aged tone and patina give it a dramatic, collected feel that works beautifully in traditional, eclectic, or globally inspired interiors.

Family-held for at least 45 years (passed to my stepmother from her parents), and offered as a vintage piece; exact age unknown, and possibly earlier than our immediate family’s period of ownership.

Displayed in a temperature-controlled, non-smoking home; one neutered male cat in the home for the past 3 years.
